is it possible to sell my 4rm HDB flat and upgrade to HDB ea but still received cash flow maybe for renovation? How much do i have to fork out for these procedures? Thank you..sorry ..noob here?

Hi,

Yes its possible, it also depends on whether there are positive cash proceeds after the sale. I have worked on similar cases before and have just assisted an upgrader in Jurong West for such a case. They are happily renovating their current EA now and expect to move in soon in 2 months time :)

Yes, it is possible if you do not get a "negative sales" after selling off your 4RM HDB flat, and provided there is not much COV (if any) for your EA purchase.

And if you're upgrading, Timeline planning is also crucial, as I believe you do not wish to shift house more than once?

Cashflow for renovation etc depends on the sales proceeds of your current flat. If you are looking at taking up a HDB loan, you can settle most of the payments using your CPF. Only a small amount of cash may be required. Contact me for a detailed financial calculation.
